For over 15 years, BCF has functioned under the support of volunteers.

Day and night, we work together in our spare time to keep the hearts and bellies of these animals full, and we are always looking to expand our volunteer family. There is a lot of help needed around the farm, including Kitty Cottage workers, dog walkers, maintenance helpers, fundraising organizers, and much, much more. If you are over 18 years of age, and are interested in doing something good for you and for the animals, please complete the volunteer registration form here. If you are 13-17 years old, you can help too, as long as a guardian is volunteering alongside you. We will have an orientation training session to tell you everything you need to know about the farm before you start. Please contact the shelter and ask for Marge if you need to complete court ordered hours.

If you have any questions about volunteering, please call us at 570.333.5265.
